Happy New Year- 2017 countdown
This project was created for the digital wayfinders (signage) found throughout inside Wayne State University School of Medicine. The signage area is vertical, which is why this video is vertical. Although the only people around to see the countdown to midnight are probably the security guards/WSU police officers, I thought it would be festive to display the countdown to 2017. After the initial countdown is complete, the video will be segmented to show the animated Happy New Year/2017 lettering for when the faculty, staff and students return during the first week of the new year. The colors in the animation are the official Wayne State colors used in our university branding. Each letter was broken apart into segments so it could be animated individually. There are more than a dozen fireworks compositions, each with its own uniqueness. Available up to 2K resolution and best viewed on a retina display mobile device or tablet because of its vertical nature.
